Those of the young generation, people too young to remember the collapse of Soviet-bloc and other socialist states in 1989 and 1990, are fortunate to be living through another thrilling example of a seemingly impenetrable State edifice reduced to impotence when faced with crowds demanding freedom, peace, and justice.

Christians awake, the bell has rung and the trumpet has blown. Today in America we have divisions between the denominations that make up our religious community. One is very vast and growing. They are wide open and traveling down a smooth road with a lot of company. They seem to accept everything and claim it good for the gospel of Christ. This group wants to allow more of the world in their activities. This group believes you can be saved from your sin but you don't have to be separated from it. It does not matter if you drink, smoke, sware, or have sex outside of marriage, you are still saved. Their excuse is Christ died for all sin on the cross and your sins are wiped away if you believe in him. Believing in Christ and living for Christ are totally different and if you don't know it today, you will in the end.

That title caught your eye didn't it. Those words may seem harsh or cruel, but the fact is God's true word the "Holy Bible" is burned or destroyed every day in the Arab world and nobody takes a stand stop it. In the nations that have the sharia law Christianity is considered illegal and false. Now I do not condone burning the Koran or any other religious symbol, but if someone wants to do so, so be it. It is just a book! I find it hard to believe that so much fuss was created over a book.

Witchcraft? Not so fast. Let's read the whole story. Christine O'Donnell, Republican U. S. Senate nominee in Delaware says, "I dabbled into witchcraft." The worldview of the United States of America as a Christian nation is rapidly changing. Candidate Obama said it, "We are no longer a Christian nation at least not just."

Legend tells us, during the great fire of Rome, Nero fiddled and sang. Since the only stringed instrument available was the lyre, we assume a liar started this legend. What we do know is the citizens blamed him for the fire. When their ire reached a flashpoint, Nero blamed Christians. This is an example of mankind's favorite weapon of self-defense: blame shifting.

This weapon was first unsheathed when Adam blamed Eve, who blamed the serpent. It is said, "When you point a finger at someone, three fingers point back at you." When it's time to solve problems, it's time to take responsibility and act, not assign blame and react.

Socialism is dangerous. It attacks the means of production within the nation. Our nation, once the most robust “product producing” country on earth has become a consumer nation captive by massive debt. We are more consumer-minded than production-minded. Much has already been penned on this topic. The remedy of our leaders in Washington is to print our way into affluence. To the least rational working man this doesn’t make any sense. Printing our way out of debt and into prosperity is impossible and only speeds up the failure of the American dollar and ultimately our standard of living. The only way out of debt is through production, thrift, savings and free market capitalism with limited government meddling. Our nation and our citizens must learn to live within their means. They can do it voluntarily or by force through bankruptcy.

A sign of the time has happened on June 9, 2010 while Christians spend countless hours on Facebook and other entertainment forms that dull their spiritual vision.

Christian leader says socialism and Marxism are transforming the land of the free and the home of the brave through massive debt accumulation and taxation. He believes there’s a fifth column sabotaging our nation from within. The title of his new book says it all, Saboteurs in the Republic: Battling Spiritual Wickedness in High Places.

Are you a free man or property of the State? Samuel Adams, Father of the American Revolution wrote, “If the liberties of America are ever completely ruined...it will in all probability be the consequence of a mistaken notion of prudence which leads men to acquiesce in measures of the most destructive tendency for the sake of present ease.”

To acquiesce for present ease means to give up today’s God given liberties for tomorrow’s serfdom. Liberty can be exchanged for bondage. As a liberty loving free man you have the right and responsibility to allow and forbid. Christ gave you keys to the Kingdom and whatsoever you forbid (bind) on earth is bound in heaven and whatsoever you allow (loose) on earth is loosed in heaven (Matthew 16:19).

In what the New York Times called "a stinging setback for the national gay-rights movement," Maine became the 31st state to vote to preserve marriage as between one man and one woman. Voters in Maine proved once again that Americans want marriage to be protected as God designed it. Same-sex "marriage" is not an issue of equality, but rather a skewed definition of the union that God intended.

The United States now borrows over 40 percent of each dollar it spends. Once we were the most prosperous nation on the earth now we are drowning in a sea of debt. Our national debt is over 11.6 trillion, the highest in the world. There is no way our nation can “grow our way out” of such overwhelming debt without cutting the size of government. Will politicians downsize our government and cut spending on their own? “Of course not,” is the right answer. When was the last time you heard anyone in Washington say they would sponsor legislation to cut the size of government and balance the budget?
