Islam Advances on Capitol Hill
The White House and Capitol Hill are no longer listening to Christian voices. Say goodbye to Billy Graham, James Dobson and other Christian influencers who kept political leaders honest and focused on the God of the Bible. Those days are over, now there's a strange voice and a foreign god leading the nation -- the spirit of Islam.
A friend of mine on Facebook posted an alarming comment on my wall along with a shocking picture of thousands of Islamists praying on Capitol Hill.
His post said: "In 1952 President Truman established one day a year as a "National Day of Prayer." In 1988 President Reagan designated the First Thursday in May of each year as National Day of Prayer. In June 2007 (then) Presidential Candidate Barack Obama declared that the USA was no longer a Christian nation. This year 2010 President Obama canceled the 21st annual National Day of Prayer ceremony at the White House under the pretext of "not wanting to offend anyone" On September 25, 2009 from 4 am until 7 pm, a National Day of Prayer for the IslAmIC religion was held on Capitol Hill, beside the White House."
I must admit, I didn't believe the photo, "Surely this is a doctored misleading photo," I thought. Until I clicked the link provided with the comment and visited the website (http://www.islamoncapitolhill.com/). I couldn't believe it!
Here's what the website said about their event "Islam on Capitol Hill, our time has come" and their goals:
IN THE NAME OF ALLAH....
The objective of this gathering is to invite the Muslim Communities and friends of Islam to express and illustrate the wonderful diversity of Islam. We intend to manifest Islam's majestic spiritual principals as revealed by Allah to our beloved prophet Muhammad (PEACE BE UPON HIM) of Arabia. Likewise; we intend to inspire a new generation of Muslim to work for the greater good of all people. We shall serve all people, regardless of race, religion or national origin.
Task One
The Athan will be chanted on Capitol Hill, echoing off of the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument and other great edifices that surround Capitol Hill.
Here's the Islamist's Athan or Adan:
4x The Allah is the greatest/most great
2x I testify that there is no deity except for The Allah
2x I testify that Muhammad is a Messenger of The Allah
2x Make haste towards the prayer
2x Make haste towards success (reward)
2x Prayer is better than sleep
2x Allāhu akbar - The Allah is the greatest!
1x There is no deity except for The Allah
Task Two
Thousands of Muslims from all races, creeds, colors and ethnicities will gather for the sole purpose of prayer.
Task Three
Bonds of friendship will be formed between those in attendance, both Muslims and Non-Muslims.
Task Four
Muslim youth will experience tours of the Library of Congress and the Supreme Court.
Task Five
The peace, beauty and solidarity of Islam will shine through America's capitol.

Al-Qaeda and Osama bin Laden (if he's still alive) and should be very proud with Islam's advancements in America.
Are these five goals in line with the "five pillars" of Islam, the foundation of Muslim life?
Islam's Five Pillars
- Faith or belief in the Oneness of God and the finality of the prophethood of Muhammad;
- Establishment of the daily prayers
- Concern for and almsgiving to the needy
- Self-purification through fasting and
- The pilgrimage to Makkah.
Is Obama Evangelizing for Islam?
More recently, the former NASA director Administrator Charles Bolden in a revealing interview with Al Jazeera said that President Obama asked him before he assumed the office that he wanted him to do three things: inspire children to learn math and science, expand international relationships and "perhaps foremost, he wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science ... and math and engineering."
While Obama doesn't believe America is a Christian nation, it seems he has a passion to reach out to muslims and advance Islam.
