The borrower is slave to the lender. Our nation can’t spend its way out of debt. We must produce more than we consume. Washington D. C. and Wall Street are giddy with the unemployment rate drop from 10.2 percent to 10 percent. The truth is that only taxable wages can pay our nation’s bills and reduce our national debt. This November 2009 chart cuts through the chase. The bottom line from Zero Hedge is, “On a rolling 12 month basis, individual tax withheld has dropped by nearly 8% YoY, from $1.42 trillion to $1.31 trillion, while company withholding are down a walloping 64%, from $274 billion to just under $100 billion!” (See CHART below.)

Folks, with that kind of national income drop why is President Obama and Congress taking on more debt like nationalized health care and cap and trade taxation that will only increase financial burdens on business and citizens alike?

Could it be possible that our national leaders have been turned over to reprobate minds? I pray not. Notice also that our politicians both Democrat and Republican WILL NOT reduce the size of government on their own. Their goal is big and bigger Federal Government. I don’t know about you but I am sick of government involvement in every aspect of life. This is all the more reason to pray for AND speak to our leaders.

It’s time to cut our national debt by downsizing government and living within our means, not by spending our way out through borrowed money. Debt is not the road to prosperity. At this rate of national debt accumulation things are going to end badly for our central planners. The American we have known has lost her way. I think we may have dogged the pneunomia for now by papering over our real problems but the heart attack of national debt default is on the way. Get your house in order there is not much time left. Salvation will not come out of Washington.



Jesus said you can’t serve two masters.

Our national leadership has turned its back on the God of the bible, removed or covered His name from our national monuments, removed His laws from our court rooms and chosen the god of mammon as lord. The result will be enslavement and collapse.

To the Christian take courage. This kingdom of corruption will soon fall but you have many biblical promises. Scripture says, for example, of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end and as long as the earth remains there shall be seed time and harvest. Our nation and the world are being shaken. Build your house on the rock and you’ll be alright (Matthew 6:33).
